I've gone and done it! I am spending this summer among horses and cows. I'm going to join a dude ranch and head out to the wild, wild, west! I'm channeling my inner John Wayne and flying out to join the mountains.

Ok, that all sounds a bit dramatic. The point is I've been in a slump since I graduated college. I know I want to do photography but I don't know WHAT I want to take pictures of anymore. When I first started, I only did landscapes and abandoned buildings.  I'm hoping that going back to what first made me fall in love with photography will help to re-inspire me.  I have applied to Colorado, Wyoming, Montana, Utah, Idaho, annnnd that's it. The ones in Montana seem to be the most beautiful but who knows! Colorado is looking pretty good to me right now and this one place in Wyoming isn't looking too shabby to me either. Basically, I'd go anywhere just to be close to such natural beauty. Who knows how long it will be there? I guarantee if they found some huge stash of oil in these parks they would find a way to level mountains. I'm going to get out there and find my photography passion before I'm too old to take the plunge.
